Last week, we had the great honour of presenting Liverpool 5G Create with the Tech For Good award at the glittering Prolific North Tech Awards. Alongside the other companies and initiatives shortlisted in this category, Liverpool 5G Create demonstrated the positive impact that technology can deliver right across our communities.
Which is something that’s incredibly important to the team here at Social, indeed, our social purpose permeates through our entire culture and ethos. Which is why we were so proud to sponsor this category in particular.
The Prolific North annual tech awards celebrates the amazing innovation of the North’s tech sector and the achievements of companies, initiatives and people working in the digital ecosystem right across the North of England.
As a communications partner for the tech sector, we already appreciate the role the North is playing in the growth of the UK’s digital innovation, and more broadly, the impact technologies are having on every sector of business. Never more so than over the past 18 months, when digital innovations have been at the centre of the UK’s transformation in response to the Covid pandemic.
The digital movement is an exciting one, with some of Britain’s most ground-breaking innovations and businesses being born out of the tech sector, many of whom originate from right here in the North.
