Delivering a targeted awareness campaign


Mace is an international construction and consultancy company. They engaged our services to promote awareness of the company and its key spokespeople across target regional growth areas.

The idea

Mace required an ongoing PR and stakeholder engagement campaign to support its new business drive and bring added recognition to its breadth and depth of expertise in the North and Midlands. The company believed it risked missing out on potential new opportunities as a result of not fully celebrating its presence in these regions.

What we delivered

We created a stakeholder database, to identify and influence key people and organisations, in partnership with the Mace team. We researched opportunities to reach out to these individuals and organisations and set out a plan of key meetings, events, industry dinners, as well as developing and placing stories about Mace in national, regional and trade publications.

Our team gained wide-ranging media exposure for Mace – broadcast, print and online – which promoted the organisation’s expertise and potential in major infrastructure projects, while also positioning senior team members at important networking and lobbying events.

Media activity has been aligned to key bids and opportunities, highlighting Mace’s expertise and thought leadership on a range of issues from its successful redevelopment of Birmingham New Street Station, to its role in the Northern Powerhouse Partnership, and the expansion of Heathrow.

Our efforts have helped Mace to win new work, add further opportunities to its new business pipeline, and to build its networks by facilitating new business introductions.
