The Business Development team sits at the heart of the Social group, working behind the scenes to deliver marketing campaigns that drive awareness of our services, build relationships and help to understand prospective clients. As part of this team the research and insights executive will work to support our offices around the country.

The successful candidate will regularly provide us with a better understanding of current or prospective clients and industries
to help with the delivery of campaigns and new business opportunities.

Role and responsibilities

  • Conduct research to obtain useful and relevant information on businesses/ brands and industries
  • Carry out brand and communications analysis
  • Identify potential opportunities for new business
  • Draw initial conclusions or recommendations from insights gathered to support the new business process
  • Present information in a clear, cohesive format
  • Research and help to refine the value proposition for business growth opportunities for Social
  • Provide insights to support marketing campaigns
  • Support our strategy Sprint offer with research
  • Work with the Marketing and Data Executive to understand industry trends and identify target customers
  • Support the Marketing and Data executive to analyse audience data to determine campaign strategies
  • Work with multiple teams to support the delivery of campaign projects

Key qualifications, skills and experience

Ideally you will be:

  • Inquisitive and willing to learn about a wide range of organisations and sectors
  • Great at building relationships
  • Confident in managing a mixed workload
  • Able to delve deeply into issues
  • Able to condense complex information into accessible summaries and conclusions
  • Understand research tools, platforms and approaches
  • Confident in working independently
  • Comfortable presenting findings to senior colleagues
