Paid Social Media Manager

Based in our Manchester office and reporting to our Group Social Media Manager, we’re looking for a skilled paid social practitioner who can lead our paid social services as we continue on a high growth trajectory.

You will be a key player in demonstrating paid social’s value to clients’ businesses and support their campaign and marketing objectives in measurable ways. You’ll be expected to manage and provide a best-in-class service to our clients, applying your knowledge of paid social platforms to identify and implement the most appropriate mediums to overcome both client and internal agency challenges.

Role and responsibilities

  • Run a diverse range of comprehensive campaigns through social management platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Demonstrate an in-depth practical knowledge of Paid Social best practice, Optimisation Framework, Account Structure, Bidding Strategy, Targeting types, and their application to campaigns to generate a high standard of delivery
  • Build paid social campaigns & strategies that are structured into clear frameworks focused on clients business objectives & are built upon solid insight
  • Analyse results and provide recommendations to improve paid social campaign and platform performance
  • Ongoing, proactive campaign and platform optimisation and testing
  • Write effective creative briefs to support the Design department to create required paid social assets
  • Contribute towards new business activity, case studies and pitches
  • Be the agency lead for all things paid social
  • Knowledge sharing across team and training junior members of the team

Key qualifications, skills and experience

  • 3+ years minimum Paid Social experience
  • High expertise level of Paid Social platforms and tools
  • Facebook Blueprint qualified (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain and deliver insights and recommendations
  • Outstanding planning, analytical and organisational skills alongside diligence and attention to detail in optimisation and reporting
  • Brilliant numerical skills with a strong background of data analysis and interpretation
  • Initiative way of working and ability to cope with competing demands, prioritising tasks accordingly
  • Ability to work under pressure and at a fast pace
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • First class written and verbal communication skills
  • Work to tight deadlines with a can-do attitude
  • Personable approach, able to build strong working relationships with colleagues across different locations and with clients
