The Business Development Coordinator will provide support to the Group Business Development Manager and Marketing & Data Manager in the delivery of new business projects.  This role will be central to the Business Development team, which supports the entire group of Social businesses to implement their growth plans among new and existing clients.

This is a new and exciting role within the business and offers a good introduction to anyone keen to start a career in marketing and business development, within a fast growing agency.

Role and responsibilities

  • Act as support on specific tenders and materials needed for new business opportunities such as maintaining library of materials such as CVs, case studies and tracking emerging opportunities
  • Update and maintain accurate, segmented databases and contact lists
  • Conduct industry and business research to inform Business Development campaigns and initiatives
  • Monitor the news agenda relative to the different business unit priorities and portfolio to identify potential networking or targeting opportunities
  • Identifying industry trends to inform campaign activities
  • Support with evaluation of activities including effectives, reach and impact.

Key qualifications, skills and experience

Ideally you will be:

  • Inquisitive and keen to learn about a wide range of organisations and sectors
  • A focused worker
  • Good at working with different teams
  • Able to summarise information
  • Able to manage a mixed workload across several workstreams

Experience

  • No business development experience necessary
  • Maths and English GCSE
  • Keen to learn and experience work in a hybrid environment
