Senior Account Executive/Account Manager

Social Invest is a new division within national, award-winning integrated communications consultancy, Social. We’re growing fast and are looking for a creative, driven, self-starter who wants to be part of a can-do culture to join our team.

You’re likely to have experience either at Account Executive or Senior Account Executive level, with a passion for story-telling and working with clients, and a desire to work across projects in a fast-paced environment.

This will be a remote working role primarily, within a supportive company culture, and with an expectation to travel into London at times, subject to lockdown rules. Over time, Social Invest is expected to open a London office. Social also has office locations in Bristol, Manchester and Leeds.

Social Invest’s primary focus at present is in the housing, placemaking and built environments, supporting organisations in areas such as environmental, social and governance (ESG) communications, sustainability, responsible business and purpose-driven investment.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A passion for storytelling and strong writing skills
  • Around 2 years’ experience working either at another PR agency or in-house
  • Strong client management skills
  • Experience of writing press releases and placing stories with the media
  • An interest in sustainability and social impact
  • An interest in the financial sector desirable

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Write accurate, high-quality media releases and support thought-leadership content for multichannel platforms
  • Manage the production of client campaigns and projects
  • Lead media activity on key launches
  • Help to plan and implement impactful PR strategies and plans
  • Help deliver reports and other communications and promotional materials
  • Sell-in and generate positive news coverage, profile pieces and features across a broad media spectrum
  • Report back on, analyse and professionally evaluate PR campaigns
  • Be a key member of the team and an ambassador for our integrated offering, delivered via our network of offices

You will ideally be:

  • Organised and able to deliver our clients work to a very high standard and to deadline
  • Focused on client delight and relationship building
  • Someone who enjoys learning new things
  • Happy to be a key part of a small team but also keen to engage with colleagues across the wider Social group
