PR Account Manager

As our Leeds office continues to grow, we’re on the lookout for an ambitious PR Account Manager who wants to be a vital part of our story. With a growing team and raft of new clients across a variety of B2B sectors, we’re looking to appoint someone who has the ambition and drive to help us meet our ambitious financial targets over the coming years and become an indispensable part of the team, in it for the long-term.

We want an individual with great media relations skills and a knack for securing enviable media coverage, being able to spot a story and pitch confidently. We are looking for someone who wants to grow within our business, and we’ll offer a great package and support, to help that individual thrive.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead client contact on a day-to-day basis
  • Plan and implement hard-hitting PR campaigns and help develop strategies
  • Recognise media angles, sell in and generate positive news coverage, profile pieces and features across a broad media spectrum
  • Write accurate, high-quality media releases and thought-leadership content
  • Report on, analyse and professionally evaluate PR campaigns
  • Be a key member of the team, helping to shape our growth in Leeds and be an ambassador for our integrated offering, delivered via our network of offices

Key skills:

  • Ability to recognise an angle and know how to pitch this into both a client and a journalist
  • High standard of professionalism when engaging with clients and other contacts
  • Great creative writing skills, and experience of writing bespoke content for different audiences
  • A strong understanding of digital and social media and how this can be applied to B2B PR

You will be:

  • Organised and able to project manage, to deliver our clients work to a very high standard and to deadline, whilst remaining unflustered.
  • Have ambitions to integrate and ultimately manage a team to support the delivery of your work

Desirable traits:

  • Experience in property, place or professional services PR
  • An understanding of / interest in political landscapes and an appreciation of stakeholder communications
