Account Manager (Campaigns)

Our South West team is looking for a PR Account Manager to join our team in the heart of brilliant Bristol.

We have a strong portfolio of clients across the housing, energy and local government sectors. We have more than doubled our turnover in the last year and plan to continue this growth in 2021. That’s why we need great people to join us on the next phase of our journey.

As an account manager or executive with a couple of years’ experience who’s ready to make the step up, you’ll be well used to supporting clients, working with the media and creating great content for online and traditional channels. A strong track record of supporting clients’ social media activity and an understanding of what success looks like is also a must.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement impactful PR campaigns and strategies
  • Develop content for social media and online platforms as part of an integrated approach to PR.
  • Write high quality, impactful content for newsletters and online.
  • Write accurate, high-quality media releases and content for journalists.
  • Combine creativity with knowledge of the media to generate positive news coverage, profile pieces and features.
  • Support reporting, analysis and evaluation of campaigns
  • Liaise with clients and act as key point of contact
  • Fully participate in brainstorms and create workable programmes for new business and existing clients
  • Keep track of impending deadlines and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Support new business development including proposal writing.

Key skills:

  • Excellent writing and ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
  • Good social media skills – content creation and channel management.
  • A strong understanding of the media, editorial requirements and what makes a story
  • Creativity and innovative thinking
  • Ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
