It’s been a busy fortnight for our Yorkshire and East office, with award nominations, client wins and two new opportunities to join the team. Hot on the heels of the news that our Manchester colleagues had been shortlisted for FOUR categories at this year’s PRide North West awards, our Leeds team were cock-a-hoop with their TWO nominations for the Yorkshire event. The team are up for Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy of the Year, and Corporate and Business Communications Campaign for our work with Leeds City College and Luminate Education Group.

The summer has also seen a flurry of client work, with events, opportunities and activity for clients old and new. It’s been fantastic to see project work for a number of clients progressing well, and especially pleasing to welcome new campaigns – more on that soon. The upshot is that we’re well-on course to see exceptional growth once again this year, and we’re on the hunt for two new team members at Account Executive and Account Manager level. If you want to join a fast-growing agency with an exciting list of clients and projects in the public and private sector, we’d love to hear from you. If you’re quick, you might nab an invite to the PRide awards…

Being a politically astute agency, any changes in government represent a busy time of year for us. Needless to say, a change in Prime Minister and wholesale changes to ministerial positions have kept us on our toes. It was pleasing to see the incoming Prime Minister make his first key note speech in the North and commit to the future of Northern Powerhouse Rail. It was clear from the response, that any solution must include a city-centre station in Bradford – something we’ve been supporting with our work on Next Stop Bradford.

It’s always great to see success for our own agency, but we’re especially excited to see recognition for our clients. Just today, the shortlist has been announced for the Yorkshire Property Industry Awards, an event we’ll be sponsoring once again. We’re delighted to see our client Leeds City College’s Quarry Hill Campus has made the grade for Commercial Development of the Year category. We look forward to seeing some familiar faces at the event in September!
